Save The Internet
Youtube Commments:
It is OUR connection, one that people like you and I have, that scares the American president. People are learning not to HATE Americans as a whole, only one regime in particular. If Bush has his way he will control the Internet too. Pay attention folks!
U.S. Corporations have tried to control the net for years. Thankfully, it’s nearly impossible because in this age, it truly is global. I hope it’s shot down and we’re able to keep it where it belongs: In the hands of all the people. Speak up! Keep the net free!
good man.
this is a part of a policy of consolidation and control of the media into a few corporate hands that control content, and the case in America today. Without this state of affairs, the bushies could not have suckered the country into war. See comment on this process of consoldiation and control by ted turner:

large companies always want to have the power
and i cant be a second class citizen
not on the internet
i mean im still in high school working over the summer for medium wage
i get on the internet i wanna be the big shot i make myself up to be
thanks khayav u the best thing on the net until i get a camera
Look khayav, I like your videos, but this is real bullshit if you really believe this. The fact that someone can think that internet companies are going to filter the content you receive onto your browser is idiotic and ignorant. If I knew that my internet provider was being paid to block some websites, I would simply delete my membership and go find another internet company that wouldn’t filter my content. The fact that ppl think the internet is in danger is stupid, ignorant and REALLY dumb.
I’m ignorant? I’m not the one that thinks his internet provider iggoing to take over the internet. IF YOU’RE INTERNET PROVIDER STARTS CENSORING THE INTERNET, JUST GO AND CREATE A CONTRACT WITH ANOTHER IP THAT YOU KNOW DOESNT CENSOR IT. simple comon sense.
its very simple. If some internet companies are going to censor the content you view, then you are simply going to go and create an account with a different internet provider that doesn’t censor you’re content. ex. if verizon wants to censor content to get paid, it can, but if another company, ex. time warner cable doesn’t censor, everyone will go there and verizon will go out of business. simple economics. Savetheinternet dot com is a bug money scam.
a tv channel is like a web address. The person who owns it can broadcast whatever they want. on the internet, if you have a website, you can broadcast whatever you want. It is nonsense to think that people can pay so you’re webpage is inacessable, its like saying if cnn paid time warner cable to block the fox channel from airing. start thinking and wake up.
even if it is true “which i HIGHLY doubt”, this action is still a government based decision, not and Internet Providers decision. The fact is, internet companies cannot and will not censor the internet for otherwise they will go out of business from all the of the market competition.
dasevergnini, YOU HIGHLY doubt it? And you even admitted you DIDN’T even look into it! Are you that dumb to where you think you are that smart? THESE ARE FACTS that this man speaks. Are you a corporate whore or something? Sorry for my anger I just hate stpidity!
dasevergnini, idiot? Your so damn stupid that you can’t even respond with facts. I responded with a clip..watch it mr. sheep you might leeeern somtin..Oops I spelt those werds wrong. You can always tell a right wing fox watching loon by their attacks. So what I misspelled a frickin word. That is your sole post? You CAN’T PROVIDE any facts? I hope you realize how dumb you look m8!
in america you can walk down the street and say George Bush is a moth****cker and no one can do anythign about it. In Sudan, you stand up to the government and you get a few bullets in you’re head. Please don’t make fun of Democratic priviliges, many people are dying and suffering because of the lack of Democracy.
I’ve contacted my representatives on the issue quite a while back, but from where I’m living it won’t make a difference. The senator representing me, James Inhofe, believes evolution and global warming are lies and doesn’t have time to be considering our electronic freedom. :./
I have done about as much as I can by myself. Contacted my reps etc. It is incredibly important for everybody to do the same. The net was created by individuals without the help of large corporations, and it should remain in the control of the users that make it up.
i don’t worry about information filtering. i’m fairly certain they have that in China but a program is available that circumvents the filtering. no matter what when it comes to the net governments and companies will always be in second place to the geeks.
We need to protect the right of people to free unfettered use of the internet. After watching Khayav. Within 10 minutes I had sent e-mails to all my Gov. Reps and all my e-mail family and friends. This technology is too great to give up the right of free access. Please go to (savetheinternet) It’ll only take you a few minutes to put pressure on your Sens. and Reps. Protect our right to open access so we can share ideas, cultures and friendship around the world.
Yeah, I don’t think I fully understand this concept still.
What’s the point in ruining a good thing? So there’s a few bad things, it’s nothing new to humanity.
Wars, Killing, Violence, Sex, Crimes, etc.. it’s all been around for quite a while, if people want to take it all away, then they can do it with parental blocks and stuff.
If that’s not why Net Neutrality is trying to take over, then what is? I’m still not too sure. :\
It is sad that in some countries like as in North Korea, PR China, United Arab Emirates and some others the internet service providers are checked by the government and they are (or were) blocking websites they don’t like – like as you said: these people becomes or already are 2nd class internet citizens
i’m afraid that this idea of false conciousness (as you said: we will have what appears to be freedom of information) is a reoccuring theme in the world today. democracy, the foundation of this freedom of information is victim to this also. we have what appears to be a “people’s society” but the fact that we vote once every one or four or five years (whatever country you live in), gives us little to be satisfied about but just enough to shut up…
It’s great that you’re doing this, Khaya. I’m very opposed to attacks on net neutrality. In fact, I’d like to make it more neutral than it already is. Currently, web servers have ISPs who charge more money for higher bandwidth. So the only way to have enough bandwidth to satisfy demand for a popular, successful upstart website is to pay a lot of money. Isn’t that a violation of the principle of net neutrality? Taking it further, I’d like the debate to expand to include media neutrality.
this is bullshit these Big companies have replaced the Church and they are fucking dictating to us…they can’t dictate information to us..it’s all apart of the idea to keep the masses in the dark so they can rule us..these bloody antichrists think money is all to it. Well may God deal with their souls..They can’t curb the information age..knowledge is greater than wealth. tks khayav
Hello Khaya,
I wanted to look into this because I respect your opinion. I know it’s a great purpose at first glance, but the political influences made me remember the “handsoffthe internet” group offering an equal merit.
They tend to disguise themselves as grassroots organizations when they’re managed & supported by politicians with alterior motives.
…
Khayav! Much respect man! This savetheinternet is a lie! The united states has policies already in place protecting the freedom of speech and the involvement of 3rd parties in your internet viewing. This is already illegal, the things they are talking about! Please please don’t fall for this garbage the way my own brothers and sisters do! There will always be anothing thing to scare you with! Maximum respect!
I signed a couple of petitions for this, not too long ago. I didn’t know they had a channel, though! I’ll go suby them! A truly chilling thing could befall us all, if we don’t speak up, now!
Thanx, Khaya! Have a great weekend!
…Teresa
Governments and corparations owe their current state of exsistence to controlling an manipulating information.
If we can listen to that, then sit down, talk to someone from abroad and see with our own eyes this is not true, it dashes all their hard spun propaganda
“For half my life in S. Africa I was a second class citizen; I refuse to be a second class citizen again. Even if it is on the internet.” I don’t think I ever heard anything regarding this subject both so very blunt and poignant at the same time. – I have felt for some time now that the internet could be the last bastion for unfettered speach and ideas for the whole world. I hope my country (USA) doesn’t screw it up by eliminating net neutrality. – Maximum respect, Khayav.

It has always been in the interest of the few people who held power, be they in the religious, political or social arena to control the flow of information to people. It’s no surprise that these powerful few are scared to death of the concept of information flowing freely from person to person, rather than it flowing from the “top to the bottom”.
nice vid bro. im gonna check the site. is it silly to think that we are “free” on the internet. or has it always been controlled? are we kidding ourselves to believe that ordinary people have the power to control something like google or youtube?
AT&T should be dropped by ALL customers! When will people fight back? AT&T also has a spy program set up with the Government! They aren’t alone. America has been taken over by corporations. What you say is important info. I really hope people fight HARD against this. Thanks for this video! Keep up the good work!
You have a great understanding of all this and I agree. We are a huge threat to these companies! Look at today’s music. It is AWFUL and why is that? CORPORATIONS! War in Iraq? CORPORATIONS..Bush gave THOUSANDS of no bid contracts. Now to AT&T if you have their service PLEASE drop them. They have paid millions in lobby money to control the net. PLEASE pass this clip on and post it in blogs! UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL. Bush and the corporations have been dividing us for seven years!

Red State Update: Jail For Paris Hilton
Youtube Commments:
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. You guys make more sense in ONE minute than thoe airheads we have to listen to on the radio and TV. Who needs to care about Hilton except except her own stupid self. WE’ve got problems and finally somebody has come and said it!! And now Liberals are defending Ft. Dix six? WTF is wrong with that picture?!
True, there are more important things to discuss but I guess people enjoy lighter notes in life to distract them from the disappointing things in this world, (like your videos, they give us a break from overwhelming problems of the world…keep up the funny videos!
If we stuck to the Constitution as written, we would have: no federal meddling in our schools; no Federal Reserve; no U. S. membership in the U.N.; no gun control; and no foreign aid. We would have no welfare for big corporations,No American troops in 100 foreign countries; no Nafta, GATT, or “fast-track”; no arrogant federal judges usurping states rights; no attacks on private property; and no income tax.
VOTE FOR DR.RON PAUL 2008! LETS TAKE BACK AMERICA!
I’m glad she’s going to jail. She’s getting what any other citizen would have gotten for disregarding the law and continuously doing irresponsible stupid things. I thought maybe they should do The Simple Life a little different though. Make her go to Africa and feed dying babies and give people their AIDS treatment shots… then she might get a touch of reality and see how spoiled and naive she is.

Sex – Is it enough?
Youtube Commments:
Well thats a great point DS, should sex be the focal point of the relationship? I saw no. I think that Sex is a very immportant communication of love to your partner. And I belive that conversation is key here, so that if it happens after words, its a good thing, that means your comfertable with each other. You know?
i say if he or she loves you then sex shouldn’t have a part of how much they love you. me and my bf don’t have sex cause its not my thing and we are still going strong and we been together for 1 year inless you court the 1 year back in 9th grade 1997. then it would be 2yrs. i’m not saying i never had sex or anything i’m just saying me and my bf don’t do that. and we still love each other.
In the long run, the friendship matters more. Without it, the sex goes stale. With it–it only gets better. Waiting until you meet the person you want to spend the rest of your life with may be the best gift you ever give yourself. I’m here to tell you: after eighteen years of marriage to my best friend–it’s only gotten better as we’ve gotten to know each other and appreciate each other more.
Well, “til death do you part” is a part of many marriage ceremonies (especially Church ones). But divorce is so easy now that marriage doesn’t mean that any more. If you consider divorce going into a marriage, you probably shouldn’t be going into the marriage to begin with.
Man. i know exactly what you mean. I’m in a long term relationship right now. and it really can’t be all about sex. and i tell my girlfriend that to let her know i know as well as she does. honestly. just be honest. and keep a balance. the relationship only gets stronger. especially if you’re able to open up to your partner and say something like its not all about sex or intimacy.
your videos ROCCCK! keep it up!!
The happiest marriages have great sex. They also possess other qualities but you will find a great population of happy marriages than not. People who love each other with good sex, communication and respect, are the ones that still hold hands when older. Doesnt take years to know that or the research. ~Raven
The hair is looking good. Unfortunately till death do us part should be dropped from the sermon. Although I believe in it, it just doesn’t apply today. It’s all to easy to walk away when the going gets tough and most people are not capable or are not willing to fix a marriage when it has broken down. I think the average person marries 3 times in their life time now. Kinda sad isn’t it.
Everyone has their own opinion on when they should have sex, depending on their culture and moral beliefs. None of us are in the position to say that causal sex or having sex at a young age is right or wrong. All we can do is stick to our own beliefs, don’t cave in to the pressures of society, and find a special someone with the same beliefs that we have.
It’s pretty simple to me. If sex is all there is, then it’s simply not a meaningful relationship. Sure, it is possible to start off with just sex and it becoming more (not that I would suggest that). But without it going beyond the sex, it won’t last. One or both will get bored and go on to someone else.
I hate to say this, but sex could lead to a conversational relationship and deeper BUT! I think it SHOULD be a conversational relationship then let it become more then that. I’m just saying its not imposable for a relationship to be a sex one to come more. It not mentally health or physically to be doing that
sex is the gift of creating new life another person out of the love you hav for another that person and the love they hav for you.
sex for plesure is selfish.
if you have to have sex just for someone to stay with you then its meaningless and not a loving relationship thats meant for resulting in new life.
hope that all makes sense… just my opinion
Me and my girlfriend have been together for 1.4 years, we love each other very much, and we don’t have sex all that often, Its not that important.
When we do, its more special then doing it every night.
Plus, accidents happen and I’m no where near ready for fathership.
Over a decade with my guy and its been the icing on the cake of life. Its good, its a treat, but you need so much more than just that for a healthy relationship. As long as we still have our appetites we’re happy
Good topic for a vid, thanks for posting!
You know, I agree with you. Though, to begin with a relationship can be based on looks and what not to begin with, but then you start getting to know the person. Umm Personally, I beleive, you should wait till your married to have sex.. thats my opinon.. Peace
i think sex confuses things, even when ur not having it, it becomes a confusing topic…i myself am 18 and havent had sex, ive had chances but i dont want to regret it once i do it bc i am looking for something serious not a hey lets do it and ill talk to you tomorrow kind of relationship
sex brings a whole new level to a relationship, and if it was like mine it makes you think you have to make it work because you share that with them..
so the past four motnhs ive been miserable telling me it was normal to take everything he said because relationships have their ups and down. you gotta know when too much is too much.
I waited until I was in my mid-twenties to start doing sex. The reason is I love the guy I am with more than anything. We discussed everything good and bad, it was one the best experiences of our relationship. Now we are together 4 years and engaged.
I often try to guess what inspires a YouTuber to vlog about a certain subject. Like what is going on in their lives that inspired them to make a vlog about that particular topic? In this case, I think I will refrain from speculating… ;^) I’m just teasing you, Frank! ;^)
id say sex is an important thing as long as its what both want to do but it can never be the basis for a good relationship because even when having sex theres so many other factors of a relationship that make the experience what it actually is and u have to work on those tings too otherwise it wud just be like a one-night stand except maybe it lasts longer;
No! you cant base a relationship only on sex. Thats what you call a fuck buddy. Sex is important but its complementary to everything else, it wont work alone. If the only thing im interested is sex, im not going to invest in a relationship. I just go to the strip club or call my fuck buddy and thats that.
I say no you can’t base a relationship on sex, though it’s an important component of a strong bond. Once familiarity comes into play, if new ideas extend beyond the sexual boundaries of one of the parties, and if there is nothing else to keep the relationship going, then there is no relationship.
for me no way i dont even like sex because ive never loved anybody enough, but for some people it works…it just depends on what they want in a relationship and if their needs match. what seems strange to me is that some of them-like a few of my friends- dont want the person as their life partner. hmmm there are many types of people
hmmmmmmm nice hair
Sex is somewhat important, but nowhere near as important as all the other little things, such as simply enjoying being with each other. If sex is the basis of the relationship, it will most likely fail. That kind of relationship isn’t love, it’s lust, and usually is what’s refered to as a fuck buddy.
your totally right. in the long run the other things in a relationship are way more important. but i think 2 people can have a relationship that only involves the sex, but its hard tho, because you still have to trust eachother – which is based on the other part of the relationship
sex is not enough to base a conventional relationship off of…and in the end even purely sexual relationships get complicated and shifted…so no…if sex is the only glue holding a relationship together it’s not worth it, but whatever works for some people doesn’t work for others, so it can be a good place to be at to pass the time until you evolve into wanting/needing something more
Sex in and of itself cannot be the basis for a long-lasting relationship. It is usually a part of any healthy relationship, but alone is not enough to make a long-term commitment with. In some cases it can open the door to more, but if there is nothing but that, it just won’t be enough and everything will fall apart. Relationships are about having someone with you to share your hopes, dreams, fears, et al, someone who you care about and who cares about you. Sex is a side benefit generally.
Nope. I don’t think sex alone can make a relationship. Being 17 years old and now with my first every boyfriend, neither of us place much importance on sex at all. More important than sex is talking, is having a friend, is trusting and having someone to hold you close. The butterflies and heart beating fast. Needless to say, we are waiting and I have no doubt or regret about that decision at all.
i personally am saving myself until marriage. it’s so hard, but i’ve made a commitment with myself and with god. also, i think sexual attraction is important at first because that is the first thing you see that draws you to a women, but what keeps you should be other things. the girl i’m dating now is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, but i’m not with her because of that. i noticed her because of that, but i am with her because she is interesting and she listens to what i have to say.
NO. Just having sex with the same person, isn’t a relationship. end of story. You need the basic needs before sex should even happen: Communication!!! Love, affection, fun.. etc.
Everyone wants their first time to be special, so dont let it be with the first guy you go out with. Wait for the feeling of knowing who is right. It will come.
When your partner gives you the Big Orgasm, it is an act of love. Sex and orgasms can be given and its not an act of love too BUT that is the same as communication, fun and affection. I know people that communicate but dont love each other, people who can have fun together here and there but dont love each other and so on. Good sex is necessary to have a loving relationship unless you have a physical disability and you learn other ways. ~Raven
Thanks for your thoughts Tmarie111. Yah know, this topic can drive me nuts with some folks. I am a woman and know whats its like to have a partner who seeks to satisfy me and another, who only cares for himself. It feels like a violation of a sort, when you dont Orgasm regularly because the guy is selfish. SEx is a loving way to show love to the person your with. Some guys still need to figure that out, just some…~Raven
I think sex is just as important as loving someone. Sex or intimacy is a form of showing love. If men dont make sure their woman has the Big O, than she will feel unloved and dismissed. If a woman doesnt please her man, he will feel the same. Sex is important and not about the physical look its about pleasing the body of the one you love. A happy marriage needs satisfied intimacy. PERIOD! ~Raven
Although I’m not completely “anti-sex”, I really don’t think it’s that important in a relationship. I don’t really understand why people put so much importance into a single act. My fiance and I have been together for nearly six years and we’re extremely happy together, just sitting around and talking. I understand that it is practically inevitable, but I don’t think it’s a stable thing to use as a base for a relationship.
Hey
I totally agree with your view on this
Though I do also agree that a relationship can exist entirely without sex
Some people like it (I will admit I do myself) but its not for everybody
I have known various people who currently have and have had rather successful entirely non sexual relationships
There is only pure love between them
And that I have always seen as totally awesome
A relationship based solely on sex is empty love. It’s nothing more than a novelty. Without love, happiness, and sense of togetherness it will never last. There exists a real need to enjoy one another’s company. Sex should be a fringe benefit of a relationship, not its foundation. Sex, lacking a loving, caring relationship takes away so much from something that should rightfully be so very special. – SaigonShadow
First it’s the physical attraction. After that you meet the person, and find out if she’s a Chrstian. If not, then there’s no reason to persue any further. If so, then hang out and find out if your personalities mesh. If they do, then continue on to persue marriage. Once you tie that knot, then and only then is when sex comes into the picture. So by doing things that way, sex never becomes an issue to base a relationship off of.
-Nick
sex can be a jump-off point, I think, because the attraction is the thing that gets us interested. But then you have to get to know each other and use common sense and decency, build a solid emotional foundation, and constant communication, to keep it together. Then sex will be the icing on the cake.
Sex isn’t EVERYTHING, but it’s a very important part of a healthy relationship. No matter how attracted to someone you are, sex isn’t going to be enough to keep 2 ppl together but you can love someone to death and still break up bcuz you’re not attracted to them too sooo…
i think the confusion on this topic mostly comes from television/radio and all that shit..so people get the wrong idea about relationships and try to live life like a rap song or a sex and the city episode. its basically crammed into our minds when we’re young that thats the way things are, when its completely untrue.
if any of you fucks think digitsoul is getting laid then you fucks are more retarded then I ever imagined.
just go out and fuck already…relationships are for faggots…use women like kleenex and toss them away after your done..they are cum buckets…you fill the bucket and move on.
wow did you think of this material your self, because it was realllllllllyyyy original. I mean wow I have never heard anything like this spill. Ok i have a confession to make i was being sarcastic for the first couple of sentences, like really sarcastic.
