Well, I suppose it also just depends a little on what kind of tea you have too. Because those herbal teas have the best health benefits and, admittedly, I don’t like those herbal teas as much.

Well, okay, so I suppose all teas are actually herbal because tea comes from a plant (the tea plant, unsurprisingly enough). But I mean those “specialist” leaf teas.

Well, okay, I suppose you don’t actually have to be a “specialist” in anything to drink a leaf tea rather than a tea bag tea.

I mean, can you imagine the conversation?

I mean, all tea is made from leaves. What the hell does “leaf tea” mean anyway, for pity’s sake?

Did you know that when they filter the tea leaves to separate the big leaves from the little bits – obviously, “little bits” is not a technical term there but, well, I don’t work in the the tea industry personally, so I apologise if I’m not au fait with all their fancy technical terms – that they collect up the little bits (let’s call them “tea grains” for want of a better word) and it’s those which go into the cheaper tea bag teas?

I’m not sure how they make granulated tea. Except, obviously, they somehow granulate the tea leaves because that’s in the name itself.

You know, “granulated tea” is “tea that’s been granulated”. Obviously.

But I’m not sure what the exact process they use to do this is. Whether it’s derived from all of the tea leaves or, like tea bag tea, from the “tea grains”, as I’m now calling them.

Well, okay, I mean, I did obviously realise it on a subconscious level because I’m saying so now and if I didn’t realise that somewhere in the back of my mind then I wouldn’t be realising that now.

But, you know, on a conscious level, I never did realise that there was so much of a process behind a humble tea.

Not that I’m suggesting there isn’t also a similar big process behind making coffee too.

It’s not that I’m prejudiced against coffee or anything. I’m not a “coffee-ist” (if that’s even a word). I drink coffee sometimes too. It’s just that I prefer to drink tea – tea bag tea, as mentioned earlier – to coffee on a regular basis.

Well, okay, I say “regular” but it’s not like I have a strict periodic tea drinking schedule or anything. As that would be kind of weird.

Okay, when I say “weird”, I mean weird for me. Not that having a regular routine for drinking tea – or coffee, for that matter – is weird in a general sense.

But…well…okay…you know…

Very good point – I think you’re right, in that many of the negative response accounts are probably newly created. At the end of the day, the BBC is an institution, and the reporter in question was provoked beyond belief. No matter what our abilities, we are all only human, and there comes a breaking point. This journalist has been acredited with many awards, and is regardless of what anyone says a highley respected reporter. He’s helped more people than i or a most others ever could.

I have had long, painful conversations with a friend who grew up as a child of scientologists. The pain and suffering inflicted upon her and her sister were terrible. She talked of the indoctrination and control techniques they were taught, and how they, the children included, were tools of the organization, primarily to make money. When her parents tried to leave the “church” they were hounded. Lawsuits ensued. Awful, horrible, ugly and deceitful organization.

This man is absolutely bonkers. He’s obviously fighting a different battle in his own head. Scientologists have helped many many people through criminal reform, drug rehab and many many more. I’ve personally seen people successfully off drugs because of their rehab program. So therefore those who attack THAT truly don’t want others helped!

When someone criticizes scientology then the response of scientologists will always be to attack that persons motives. I think it is important to differentiate between people who have participated in Scientology to those who dedicated to Sea Org. I was so surprised by Sweeney’s reaction to whatever the scientologist shouted, but it seems there’s something more sinister at play. I deny those who deny Brian Sapient, and it is clear that Brian Sapient thinks you all as numnuts, if you were to read into the nightline debate you would see that the foolish Kirk stood before the crowd and displayed devil magic of Photoshop in an attempt to discredit holy evolution (praise Darwin). The great sapient shook his head and spokeith “What a numnut”, but all heard as the truth that rang trough the church. Just as Kirk was a numnut, you too are all numnuts, praise Sapient!

I know Brian Sapient doesn’t exist , I mean just because he has a website and even emailed me a couple of times, doesn’t proove at all that this human indeed exist, I mean really just because I have heard his voice on the radio or even seen him on the Television doesnt proove squat. I couldn’t identify the source of the narration on that MySpace page. One of Jonathan Edwards’s sermons? We should turn this nonsense on its head by telling christians that if hell exists and we have to go there after we die, then we should thank their god for giving our lives “meaning” after all!

I don’t know about Brian, but I can surely affirm that the NEED for classes in web design is sorely shown on that myspace. Upon looking at the page I can only guess that it’s a pro-rationality page, since the capacity for irony is sorely limited in religious fundamentalists. Great fun though, especially when you see that the non-religious often know the Bible better than the religious themselves.
