I thought FMA was one of the most gripping anime series of I’ve seen. Great storyline and always had a new edge that even if you did expect it you didn’t think they’d do it. Although Al’s voice in Japanese can induce seizures and/or bleeding eardrums. Trigun was also great because it had a morbid side to it.

Communisim makes you angry? Why? Has the media, textbooks and the fear Aluminati psychologically conditioned you to believe you would be a nonpartriot. What is it about C. that you hate? Curruption? In capitalism we call that commissions and stock options. Does it reduce the work ethic? Hi Peri. TV commercial actors have no obligation to disclose that they are are being paid. But I’m glad that you recognize the contextual difference here on YT/LV where we have gotten to know and trust you as a real person blogging from the heart. Take money if they offer it. Your only responsibility to your followers out of honesty is to declare the context to be advertising not blogging.

And that is only because we have seen you for so long in the blogging context that an undeclared switch would not be very fair communication. I wonder if they didn’t follow up with offers because you were already doing it without being paid? Ouch, if you missed out because of that. They should pay you in retrospect!

That is exactly how I feel. I have followed Lem, peri, gpert, Jeff and Kenrg from the beginning and because they have many subscribers now and I haven’t, I have gone from a ‘possible’ friend, as they all are, to merely a ‘fan’ in the eyes of one or two. I may be inexperienced when it comes to making quality videos but I still have a brain and a personality. I am simply hoping now that none of these people I admire so dearly become Renettos. Good for anyone who gets paid by YT or LV. After all, YT creators would not be filthy rich at the moment if not for your videos. The only thing that doesn’t sit well with me is, according to Paul, LV’s offer required posting exclusively on LV (and not here). I understand business is business, but that’s a BS to force viewers over there to see the folks we enjoy watching. I have no respect for that part of the deal.

im pretty shocked but i dont know why. nothing is ‘out of bounds’ where marketing is concerned. it was only a matter of time, and i was a wee bit sceptical when you first went over. i actually thought the site might have something to do with chad and steve because it was almost an exact replica. the jury is still out, im not gonna leap to any conclusions just yet.

Ok Here is my thought… I don’t care what channel my favorite actors are on or how much money they make for the shows they are in. As long as I get to see them and enjoy what they are doing. It’s good to have different channels to watch and a nice variety of shows also. These are my TV programs these days.

the thing about fillers is that they are original to the show and not the comic. If people could watch the show, and never have to buy the manga because they were identical, why would someone (with cable) buy the comic? they could just watch it for free on t.v. that’s why they’re different. Like the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the radio show, t.v. show, books, and parts of the movie were written by the same guy. Not only were they diferent, they contradicted each other.

Im pretty sure all that talking between Urahara Kisuke and Kurosaki Isshin wasn’t in the manga, there was some but that that much (although comparing english text to japanese voices isn’t that great an indicator). It looks kinda funny since they both know about the Vizard and Arrancar but are explaining it to each other (for the audiences convience I guess).

I find it really funny that Nova actually writes out “Vaizard” and “Arrancar” in kanji first, and then in the katakana in subscript. And ’somehow’ he just happens to understand the logic Kubo used in making two scripts specifically so that the kanji would translate as the universal definition of the words, while the katakana would be pronounced in the original Spanish.

I love your sense of humour

When we learn English as a second language there are two groups: those who prefer the American accent and those who prefer the British one (often because it sounds more refined and therefore has a “better reputation”). And generally the main goal is to speak the language as a native speaker, so maybe that’s why your friends wanted to know how they sounded like.

The most simple and easy way to fix the reply problem is that they should not make the person who posted the videos comments count towards the nummber of comments. That way they wont have to worry about people commenting there own videos a million times to get an award.

Truly enjoy watching your videos Peter. If you’d be interested in seeing my homage to ‘old folk’ and how we must embrace the brilliant of the older generation then pop along and see my videos. They are a comical parody that I hope you’ll enjoy.

In Wales (For Americans: Also part of Britain but not part of England) no one uses American-English that much. (At least not in my part) I blame it on the overload of American kids TV which is quite frankly crap and generic. No offence to Americans .

Peter, I enjoyed your talk about the ‘Queen’s’ English and the other national variations to it. Before YouTube, I was never exposed to many different accents. To my American ears, the accents of the UK just sounds more sophisticated. Alistair Cooke could read the ingredients of a box of cereal, and I would be enthralled.

Am an Amrcn who lived in Engld for 4 yrs in mid&late ’90s, in my teens. Back then, though obviously some previously Amrcn vocab had been adopted, it seemed all the Brtsh kids spoke with their own local accents, or at least some kind of obviously Brtsh accent. Nowadays, I find Brtsh, Irish, and N’Z'land teens on YT whose ACCENTS (not just vocab) sound very Amrcn-influenced. Much harder to place them w/out checking profiles. Fascinating effect of cheap/free 2-way voice communication.

Political reasons aside, I suspect that’s more to do with how rude Americans seem based on their speech. E.g., in a shop: “I’ll take this” or “Give me%2qa3MLAAAAUks5Q0xkYWQ2dmNzCwAAAFFvOUJqanlHTS1V
